DTN COMMENTS:   A light dressed trade is taking place in parts of 
Nebraska at $380, about $3 lower than last week's weighted average. Some 
live deals are also being reported in Colorado at $240. We are still 
waiting on business to develop in the South.

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 387.07 +0.18, select 380.07 -
0.54) with generally light box movement (33.29 lds of choice cuts, 2.74 
lds of select cuts, 3.44 lds of trim, and 5.71 lds of ground). Near the 
top of the noon hour both live and feeder cattle contracts are sharply 
lower.
