DTN COMMENTS:  The country remains relatively quiet at midday with just a 
few bids on the table in parts of Kansas but they are being passed, 
asking prices have yet to be established. Significant trade volume will 
likely be delayed until Thursday and/or Friday. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (choice 366.18 +1.42, select 362.25 
+2.41) with moderate box movement (55.81 lds of choice cuts, 8.47 lds of 
select cuts, 6.97 lds of trim, and 19.48 lds of ground). Live cattle 
futures at midday are mostly modestly higher, while feeder issues are 
moderately to sharply higher.
