======================================================================
Compared to the last report, demand is picking up throughout the state
even though movement hasn't shown that yet.
A lot of producers are selling out of hay and small bale producers are
keeping just enough hay to keep their regular customers supplied.
Most hay is being moved in small loads at a time.
Oregon is having a lighter demand than normal and most blame the light
winter Oregon is having.
According to the U.S.
Drought Monitor, moderate to severe drought indicated in northeast Oregon,
in Southwest Oregon there is moderately dry soil moisture where
the rest of Oregon is being labelled as having abnormally dry to no drought
indication.
According to the NRCS, Oregon snowpack is: Willamette,
Rogue Umpqua ranges are 29%-30% of median, Klamath region is 27%
of median, Lake County region is 37% of median, Upper Deschutes Crooke.
