Compared to the last report, demand for hay in Oregon remains on the
slower end.
Reports of hay producers finishing up third cutting where others are
on the fourth with hopes of finishing up in a few weeks.
Some hay farmers wanting to crank out production and getting hay in the
barn before it rains.
According to the U.S.
Drought Monitor, moderate to severe drought indicated in the north and
west sections of Oregon where the southeast and central areas are being
labelled as having no drought indication.
